Helping people living with Parkinson’s find hope and happiness.

It has been said that the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

Finding your WHY – a purpose, cause or belief that inspires you – will provide you with greater fulfillment in all that you do.

My WHY is my mom.

My mom has battled Parkinson’s disease for thirty years. Most folks who are diagnosed with PD only survive an average of fifteen years, so we’d like to think she’s done pretty well. That’s not to say that having Parkinson’s has been easy for her – far from it. It has been Mom’s faith, resilience, and determination to keep fighting that has kept her going all these years. Watching her face Parkinson’s with a “is that all you’ve got?” attitude has been truly inspiring. By sharing her story, I hope to help others living with Parkinson’s find their why and create a meaningful, hope-filled life.

What Others Say

You have written an extraordinary book, and as a person living with Parkinson’s, it is now my main source to turn to when I need to reassure myself, or get invaluable information and advice. on my condition. It is the most detailed source I have, and I have a small library of books on Parkinson’s. I never go to see my neurologist or doctor without your book under my arm.

My wife is in her third year of PD, and I am the caregiver. She and I are nearly finished our first reading of the book. It is already helping a lot. We have three well-known books on PD which are very good, but yours is much easier since you have “been there, done that!” Your book is in much more down to earth detail, about things that we need to know on a day-to-day basis. Thank you so much for your good work.

Love this book! Told by a daughter with the help of her mom who has Parkinson’s. I have used some of the hints she has given. I have also gone back and looked for help in her book. I read it fast and wished it never ended. I am a caregiver. I found it very helpful.
